Coach Mitch Bousquet

Coach Bousquet has been coaching baseball for 11 years and is beginning his 10th year with the Lancers. During his tenure, he has coached at all levels staring with the freshmen club that featured players like Ryan Royster (Tampa Bay Rays farm system) and current JV Coach Jimmy McDaniel.

After moving through the Lancer organization, Mitch has become Coach Hoberg’s top assistant and played an integral part in the 3 Mid-Western League championships. The Churchill program has been to the state play-offs 6 out of the last 7 seasons, capped by an appearance in the 2007 Oregon state title game.

Coach Bousquet has coached summer teams beginning with a Salem Babe Ruth team that finished 3rd nationally. He was an assistant coach with the West Eugene AAA American Legion Team and from 2003-2005 was on the staff for the Eugene Challengers Legion A club.

Mitch graduated from South Salem High School in 1998. After a stint at LCC, Mitch’s focus turned to coaching. Mitch is also in his 7 th season as a member of the Churchill football coaching staff.

Mitch has been married to Annie since 2005 and they have a son named Brady.
