100 Inning Game/Potluck/Summer Baseball Meeting

Players will seek sponsors for this event. Players send the 100 Inning Game letter to friends, businesses and family members to receive a donation to the Churchill High School baseball program on their behalf. Each player’s goal is to raise a minimum of $200.00. At this mandatory event, coaches and players meet on a Saturday in early spring for a pizza lunch and to complete letters for mailing. Players compile a contact list their first season and update it yearly. This is the most profitable fund raiser for CHS Baseball.

The 100 Inning Game is played later in the spring on a Saturday. This also includes a barbecue and a potluck.  It's a mandatory event for all players. The game begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. The main course of the barbecue lunch is provided, with baseball families bringing dishes to share. A brief parent/player meeting regarding summer baseball is held after lunch.

Papa’s Pizza Day

CHS Baseball recieves 50% of all pizza orders placed with a Papa's Pizza flyer!  Flyers for this event will be distributed. In April and October, please join players and families for pizza at Papa's on West 11th and Chambers, and support Churchill Baseball. 

Fence Signs

Churchill 4' x 8' fence signs are created by a professional sign company in Eugene.  Just e-mail your graphics and we make your sign-It’s that easy! The signs are proudly displayed and hung before the first pitch of the Spring Baseball Season.

March through October, the CHS Baseball facility is in constant use by the following teams:  Churchill Baseball (Varsity and JV-Spring, Summer and Fall seasons) Kidsports, Babe Ruth, American Legion and Senior League.

We ask for a two year commitment. You can do that one of two ways;

  • $350.00 one time payment or;
  • $200.00 paid per year

Spirit Wear

Churchill Baseball Spirit Wear is available to purchase during limited times of the year on a pre-order and pre-pay basis. Selection varies depending on the season. You can see the CHS Baseball Timeline for tentative times when Spirit Wear is offered. Delivery takes approximately two weeks.

McKenzie Athletic and Pacific Headwear are our spirit wear and uniform vendors.

Baseball Messages

Show support for your team or player on the Churchill Baseball website. This year, parents, family members and businesses can purchase a message by submitting a request via e-mail to the web administrator at admin@churchillbaseball.com or you can submit your form and fee to the designated team parent. The fee is $10.00 per message and is limited to two sentences. Messages will be displayed in the left margin of the Home Page and remain on the website for 365 days.  What a deal!

Sponsor a Team Position or Child

Businesses can show support for a position, i.e. pitchers, outfielders on the Churchill Baseball website. Businesses can sponsor a position by submitting a request via e-mail to admin@churchillbaseball.com. The fee is $100.00 per sponsor and is limited to approximately 10 words. Sponsors will remain on the website for 365 days.

Concessions

Drinks and snacks are offered at most Varsity home games. Concession volunteers and product donations are always appreciated.
